The Vampire Is Just Not That Into You

I went out book shopping with a friend of mine last weekend.

I got "The Vampire Is Just Not That Into You"

The book idea comes from the book "He Is Just Not That Into You".

I got the book for a bit of a laugh, but the girl in the book shop said it was good.

"Are you in love with a vampire? Are you worried that you might not be his (blood) type? Do you wonder whether that cold stare means he isn’t interested . . . or if it’s because he’s been dead for three centuries (nothing personal)? Have you tried to coax him out of his crypt with a flash of your neck or a near-death situation that requires him to save you at the very last possible moment? Have you ever considered what it will be like to introduce him to your mother?

Even though your vampire’s skin is transfixingly translucent, he can still be very hard to read. Sometimes he’s simply holding back his true feelings, resisting the urge to bite you in the chance that one day you will truly love him. And other times . . . well, he’s just not that into you.

How can you tell? Undead dating specialist Vlad Mezrich has all the answers, utilizing quizzes, Top Ten lists, language analysis, real-life (and real-death) testimonials, and fancy charts to show you what you need to do in order to get your vampire and keep him forever. Once you go vamp, you never decamp – so let this eternally rewarding book show you the way to the vampire of your dreams."

Brush with Fame!

Went out shopping today with my mum and her friend, Ros.

What I wore today

One of the shops we went into was, 'Canterbury Lace'

It has a sweet lolita feel to it

As we were sitting having a coffee, Ros saw a man walking and said, "Isn't that Kirk from INXS?"

I almost died when I turned around to see Kirk from INXS walk right pass us.

I grabbed my bag, told mum and Ros I would be back in a second and ran off to get my photo with Kirk!

If you don't know who INXS, they are (were) great aussie rock band. They were huge in the 80's and 90's. Read more about INXS here

Animania Mini 2009

The first cosplay event in Sydney, Australia is Animania Mini.

The Cosplay event was held in a small hotel near Chinatown.

There were so many people there, it was really hard to walk around.

I had fun seeing all the cosplayers, sadly I couldn't get any photos with them :(

I cosplayed as one of the Akatsuki from 'Naruto'. I made the outift into a Lolita dress, as I knew there would alot of poeple cosplaying as a Akatsuki memeber.

Market,Twilight send-up book and Christmas

Today I went shopping and as usual gravtate to book section. My purchase today was a "Twilight Send-up Book"

The book is called "Nightlight" by The Harvard Lampoon

"Pale and klutzy, belle arrives in Switchblade, Oregon, looking for adventure, or at least an undead classmate. She soon discoves Edwart, a super-hot computer nerd with zero interest in girls. After witnessing a number of strange events - Edwart leaves his chips untouched at lunch! Edwart saves her from a flying snowball! - Belle has a dramatic revelation: Edwart ia a vampire. But how can she convince Edwart to bite her and transform her into his eternal bride, especially when he seems to find girls so repulsive?"

Yes this is a book! And I can't wait to starting reading it!
Don't get me wrong, I love the Twilight books. But I do hate how everywhere you go there is something with Twilight on it or Rob Pattinson's face on it. Like today, I went into my favourite shop and there inbetween the jewellery was a box with Rob's face on it with Twilight on it. Twilight is everywhere! Great to find someone with a sense of humour!

Moving on...I was at the Mosman Markets selling my bags yesterday.

We had great weather which was really good, after the last two markets were a complete washout.
You can have a look at my bags on my website

Christmas is so soon :)
We have started putting up our christmas decoration

Next week I will be posting highlights of the cosplay events that I went to this year and what characters I cosplayed as.

High Tea

Last month I went to a High Tea Party with my family.

The Hight Tea party was at the Observatory Hotel in the city. They had lots of small stalls around the hotel.

One of the stalls was Ms Bluebell,

I just had to try on a top hat!

I loved her headbands and I really loved the tea cup one

I can't wait to get my tea cup headband!

We had our High Tea at 12:30pm and the food was so kawaii (cute) :P

What High Teas have you been to, I would love have High Tea everywhere around the world!
